This clinic is for the student still developing skills but is ready for more focus on all aspects of the game. The class includes:

• Introduction to topspin on groundstrokes
• Use of continental grip on volleys, overheads and serve
• Footwork, body positioning and movement
• Drilling on all strokes
• Focus on racket head speed and development
• Focus on serving with accuracy using proper technique
• Understanding of singles and doubles including court placement and scoring
• Fundamentals of strategy including shot selection using offensive and defensive shots
• Point play
• Preparation for competition
